About Me
From as early as my sophomore year in highschool, I wanted to be a gym teacher. Through my first nine semesters in school I worked toward my goal of becoming a teacher and was in a physical education major. I had a mentor talk to me about working in Student Affairs because of my experience working in Residence Life and for our Campus Activities Board. After thinking about it for a little while I decided to change my plans. This was when I had one semester left to graduate. The next thing I knew I was applying to graduate schools and on a path to working in higher education. Today I love what I do and wouldn’t trade it for anything. I think it’s important to remember that plans can change and you might find an incredible opportunity you didn’t know existed.
