Boozhoo from Tina Goodin of the Bear clan. Tina's ancestors come from the White Earth Ojibwe Nation as well as the Treaty 3 area in Canada. She a proud Anishinaabekwe and enrolled member of Buffalo Point First Nation. Tina received her degree from UMN Crookston and attended the University of Manitoba focusing on Management and Native Studies. She has a passion for investing and supporting Indigenous students by providing a sense of community. She worked for several years in her own community but felt the need to expand her personal growth by working with Indigenous people from all over Turtle Island. She has had the opportunity to travel with young Indigenous youth for several months at a time while volunteering in small Indigenous communities in other countries. She has also chaired and has been a member of the Local Indian Education Parent Committee for many years and a parent advisor. In addition, she enjoys beading, sewing, and spending time with her family.
